Mrs. Carlson's 3rd grade students will be working on a year-long campus beautification project. Treasure Coast Elementary is a brand new school and currently has limited landscaping. This 3rd grade class will be working to add "greenery" to the school campus. In addition to their beautification efforts, the students will be planting a fruit and vegetable garden.

Grades Involved:
We are interested in being E-Mail Pals and would like to exchange: I would love for our students to exchange ideas with another 3rd grade class. We are very interested in working with another 3rd grade class from another part of the United States.
How our project is helping kids grow: Many of my students have had limited experiences with gardening. This project has helped many of them gain a greater sense of pride and appreciation for the things that they are doing. This project has also created opportunities for the students to work together to accomplish a positive goal.
