This year The Renaissance School will launch a year-long gardening project. We will construct the bed, plant fall vegetables and flowers, and work the soil until spring. We will build a compost bin and a worm bin. We have a butterfly garden and have already watched our first butterfly emerge from it's cocoon. We will do year-long study units integrating math, language arts, science, and earth studies into our gradening project. This will be an ongoing activity that all our classes will enjoy for years to come.
