Our garden is located in front of our school in Brooklyn. We have a diverse population and have many handicapped children. We cover a wide variety of topics in our classroom. As we are just beginning, we hope to start some seeds indoors to transplant in the Spring.

We are interested in being E-Mail Pals and would like to exchange: We would like to exchange habitat experiences. We are in an urban environment and therefore are fairly limited. But we are still going to give it our best shot.
How our project is helping kids grow: Our children will hopefully see their work come to fruition. A certain level of pride will develop as students work together to complete a series of tasks. Thus, a sense of community will develop. This effect will have a positive impact upon them with a ripple effect out into the community.
