Welcome

Are you ready for an adventure? Are you ready to meet other kids your age who live in the mountains like you do, only in different countries? Over the next three months you are going to get the chance to meet kids in two other countries. They will become your international classmates. You'll discover what they do every day, what they eat, and what they wear. You'll even get to see pictures of them! What's more, you and your international classmates will work on a project together. As a team of international scientists, your job will be to gather information about the use of native plants in your mountain communities. Many cultures, for many years, have used native plants for food, medicine, and other purposes. You will work with your international classmates to document how native plants are being used today and how they have been used in the past. Does everyone, everywhere use the same plants for the same purposes? Let's find out… But first things, first. It is time to meet your international classmates.
