The Netherlands Flower Bulb Information Center
This site, Bulb.com, features all you'd ever want to know about flower bulbs, and then some. Check out their Bulb Forcing Table. It
lists the chilling requirements and weeks to bloom of 18 species of bulbs used for forcing. Use this information to plan planting dates and predict blossom times.

Tiptoe Through the Tulips
The Hazen-White/St. Francis Middle School's site is a treasure chest of tulip trivia, history, and science. Their showpiece is the story of their bulb-forcing project, including step-by-step instructions, and photos of their bulbs' progress.

Fundraising with Bulbs

Looking for a "healthy" and alluring option for raising funds for your school? NGA is proud to endorse the Dutch Gardens Bulb Fundraising Program. Dutch Gardens, which has marketed top-quality bulbs since 1908, has selected beautiful, easy-to-grow varieties of tulip, daffodil, hyacinth, and other spring flowering bulbs for this program. And it's a good deal to boot; your school gets to keep 50% of the profits. Although the fall fundraising program deadlines have past, you can still request a Bulb Fundraising Kit. When you do so, you will be put on a list to be notified as soon as the next round begins.
