If
you're just getting started, you'll begin by clicking on Add
a new page
If
you've already created pages, they will be listed on the left. |
|
Important: Plan
out your pages before starting to add them. You must create
the pages in the same order as you want them to appear in your
mini-Web site. However, you can edit the content
of the pages at any time.
|
|
To create
your first page, click on Add a new page.
The first screen you see will ask you to give your
page a title.
Once
you've typed it in, click on "create title" to bring
you to the next screen.
|
|
|
On the next
page, you'll be asked to choose a template. Each page can have
one photo, plus text. Choose the template based on the location
of the photo.
Click
on the circle under the template you want, and click "Select
this template." |
|
The next
screen instructs you to add the text you want on this page.
Note:
You will need to type in a special code to indicate where
you want to start a new paragraph. See sample below.

If
you want your text to look like this:
Native plants are plants that still live
in the region where they evolved. From one generation to
the next, plants change.
Native plants collected from the wild are
an important source of food for people around the world.
Many people also sell native plants as food in order to
make a living.
For thousands of years, people around the world have used
native plants as medicine. In fact, most of our modern medicines
were first made from plants. |
You will need to type
in these <p> codes:

The next screen
asks you to insert the photo you want on that page. Use the "browse"
button to find the image on your computer, open it, and it will
